Guided - Asgard 4x4 off-road adventure, camping safari tours & overland expeditions in South Africa
To further enhance the adventure of your African experience, we offer; guided short, medium and extended safari tours and expeditions within the Southern African Region. Itineries can be customized to individual and group preferences. The outdoor adventure is enhanced by your personal participative involvement , by self-drive, self-cater and self-enrichment of knowledge.
Off-road travel is fun, safe and easy in a good team that co-operates well.

Born on farms in Namibia more than 50 years ago, has given us the privilege and opportunity to have gained the experience and knowledge of Africa, Safaris, Farming, Driving skills & Mechanics, Business administration, Hospitality & Relations, 3 Languages,conservation and ecology. We have managed various business's, our Farm Asgard and Accomodation establishments Asgard B&B in Namibia and Asgard Apartments in South Africa.
Carl's registration as “4x4 Trails and Overland Tourist Guide” and member of the “4WD Guide Association” is in progress, he has First Aid and Driving qualifications, speaks English, Afrikaans & German and has a South African Permanent Residence.

Tours and Expeditions:
We offer day tours, medium breakaways and extended overland safari expeditions
Our itineries for Tours and Expeditions can be adapted to your preferences based on the following criteria: |
| - 4wd vehicles are compulsory, some routes require low gears |
| - Your own 4x4, or we will rent one for you on a self-drive basis |
| - Vehicle should be equipped to cope with the chosen route |
| - The Itinery will determine the max & min Vehicles |
| - Only exsisting roads, off-road, routes, tracks and trails to be used |
| - Remote, rural and foreign territory on condition it's safe |
| - Accomodation in Camping, Tented camps or Lodges |
| - Catering will be on a self-catering basis unless it is a closed group |
| - Preferred itineries include National and Private Parks, Conservation and sensitive areas |
| - The natural enviroment and ecology will always require responsible driving |
The following will take priority in planning itineries:
Nature, conservation, law, geology, metreology, scenery, sunsets, game/bird watching, photography, star gazing, culture, heritage, education, fauna & flora, 4x4 skills, the constant changes in Africa and exposure to risk.
We do offer training for those unfamiliar with African conditions and insufficiant 4x4 driving experience and skills.
We fully except that nobody is expert of everything and perfect in non,
but request to bring your strength and knowledge
and swop or share them with the group
